A great camp should be a safe place where campers discover new passions and engage in a variety of sports and group games while learning the values of teamwork, honesty and cooperation. We have designed a variety of age-appropriate games and challenges that provide children with the perfect opportunity to build self-confidence, develop relationships and have lots of fun! In addition to our active program, your kids will love our Game Room, where they can learn magic tricks, play board games and even design new games for the campers to play.
Our camp is fueled by our energetic and fun-loving PE teachers, committed to making each camper's experience special and unique.

Campers are grouped with similar aged campers who have the same interests so everyone from 4 to 13 has a blast!
FREE EXTENDED CARE
The main camp program runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm, but we offer FREE extended care from 8:00am to 6:00pm to make it as easy as possible for working families.
Our camp is conveniently located at SportsHouse in Redwood City. SportsHouse is the largest INDOOR sportsplex in the Peninsula and features: indoor turf fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, an outdoor beach volleyball court and a huge jump house.

Each camper receives a FREE hot lunch each day from Kicks Grill. Lunch includes a bottle of water, fresh seasonal fruit and an entree item.

COUNSELORS IN TRAINING
GrowFit's Counselors in Training (CIT) program is for teens ages 14-16 who are looking to develop leadership and coaching skills. CITs will facilitate games, supervise groups, and support equipment set-up and take down under the supervision of our PE teachers. CITs will be given community service hours as needed.
Hours 8:30AM-5PM (30 min lunch)
Cost $200 per week

What kind of activities/programs does GrowFit offer?
The majority of a camper's day will be filled with a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball, field hockey, baseball and flag football), group games (capture the flag, dodgeball and tag), special activities (bubble soccer and jump house) and much, much more!
Does my camper need to have a knowledge or background in sports?
No, campers of all ability types and beginners are highly encouraged to join us this summer!
Will my camper be with children of the same grade?
Yes, all campers are grouped according to age.
What is the deadline for signing up for camp?
There is no deadline for camp. You can sign up right up to the day camp starts as long as there is space available.
How do I add more camp sessions after camp starts?
You can add camp sessions online or you can email us to see if space is available.
What’s included in lunch?
Lunch is provided by Kicks Grill each day. Lunch includes an entree, water bottle and fresh fruit.
What happens if camp is full the weeks I want?
If camp is full your name will be added to the waitlist. You will not be charged to be on the waitlist and there is no obligation to sign up once you're on it.
How will I know if I get off the waitlist?
If a space becomes available we will let you know via email and phone. You will have three business days to accept the offer. If you do not accept we will move onto the next family in order of our list.
Is it possible to transfer my camp session to a different week?
Yes, 14 days in advance and space permitting you may transfer your session to a different week if necessary.
Can I transfer my session to another camper?
You may only transfer your session to another camper within the immediate family.
Can my camper be grouped with his/her friends?
Absolutely. You can make a note if your camper wants to be grouped with someone else on the registration page. However, we cannot accommodate if your camper wants to be with someone of a different age group as activities are designed specifically for certain age groups. As a reminder, all campers eat lunch together and participate in group games at the end of each day.
What if my child has a serious allergy at camp?
Before campers arrive each parent must fill out the medical history form as part of the online registration. If your camper has a severe allergy we will do our best to accommodate him/her such as nut-free tables during lunch or EpiPens on hand in case of an emergency.
Can my child attend camp if he/she has special needs?
Please reach out to us if you think your camper might need special accommodations while at camp. We are pleased to welcome every camper.
How do I know my camper is safe?
All GrowFit staff go through extensive background checks and attend professional development specific to physical education teaching. Campers are always under supervision during each part of the day. We always have CPR certified staff on duty and in the event of a minor injury parents will be notified via a phone call, email or in person during pick-up/drop off. In case of an emergency we will call 911 if need and immediately notify the parent or guardian.
How do you know my child is going home with the right person?
Each camper must be picked up by a person that is on the authorized list of personnel for each family. Anyone picking up a camper must show photo ID.
Is the camp equipped to handle an emergency like a fire?
Yes. Our staff rehearses evacuation procedures for fires, earthquakes, lock downs and any other problem that may arise on campus. All first responders in the area are notified prior to the start of camp as well.
What does my child need to bring to camp?
Each child should bring snack(s), a water bottle and athletic shoes (cleats are not allowed).
What if my child loses something at camp?
We will have a lost and found at camp. Please check with your child's staff counselor and you can call or email anytime!
Can I split my week or choose single days during the summer?
During the first and last two weeks of camp we offer single day camp sessions. For the remainder of the summer our sessions are week-long and cannot be split.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds are given to all families that cancel at least 14 days prior to the first day of camp. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
What if I am late and pick up my camper after 6pm?
A fee of $1 per minute is charged for picking up your camper anytime after 6pm.
