Little Sports Parent/Child

Fall Session: Tuesday, September 5th- Saturday, December 16th

2-3 YEARS OLD

An introduction to sports and sensory activities, GrowFit's Little Sports class is designed to help support your little one's motor & cognitive development. Organized games and sensory activities  teach sports skills, teamwork, coordination, cognitive development and physical abilities. 

Weeks 1-3: Locomotor movement focus
Weeks 4-6: Kicking focus
Weeks 7-9: Throwing and catching focus
Weeks 10-12: Spatial awareness focus                                                                                                                                       Weeks 13-14: Engaging & playing with others


Soccer

Fall Session: Tuesday, September 5th- Saturday, December 16th

3-5 YEARS OLD

An introduction to soccer, this class will help your child develop dribbling and shooting skills. As the season progress your child will participate in the early stages of scrimmaging.

Weeks 1-2: Dribbling (no hands) and kicking
Weeks 3-6: Keeping the ball close while dribbling and kicking a ball for distance
Weeks 7-10: Dribbling with the inside of the foot and kicking with your laces
Weeks 11-12: Dribbling in traffic and shooting off-the-dribble                                                                                                 Weeks 13-14: Soccer scrimmages 

5-7 YEARS OLD

In this soccer class your child will develop dribbling, shooting and defense skills. As the season progresses your child will play non-competitive soccer games. 

Weeks 1-2: Dribbling and passing
Weeks 3-4: Dribbling and shooting
Weeks 5-8: Dribbling and defense
Weeks 9-10: Advanced dribbling
Weeks 11-12: Advanced scrimmaging                                                                                                                                         Weeks 13-14: Soccer games


Multi-Sport

Fall Session: Tuesday, September 5th- Saturday, December 16th

3-5 YEARS OLD

An introduction to soccer, football, volleyball and baseball, in this class your chill will begin developing fundamental sports skills. As the season progress your child will participate in the early stages of scrimmaging.

Weeks 1-3: Soccer
Weeks 4-6: Football
Weeks 7-9: Volleyball
Weeks 10-12: Baseball                                                                                                                                                             Weeks 13-14: Scrimmages

5-7 YEARS OLD

Flag Football

An introduction to flag football, this class will help your child develop throwing and catching skills. As the season progress your child will participate in the early stages of scrimmaging.

Weeks 3-4: Throwing and accuracy
Weeks 5-8: Catching
Weeks 9-10: Defending a pass

5-7 YEARS OLD

In this flag football class your child will develop throwing, catching and defense skills. As the season progresses your child will play non-competitive flag football games.

STAFF

Our teaching staff consists of highly qualified professionals (most are PE teachers) who are knowledgeable in creating supportive environments where children feel emotionally safe and are willing to try things outside their comfort zone. All teachers complete our comprehensive training program, are regularly evaluated and participate in ongoing training.
