Little Sports Parent/Child

Fall Session: Now-Saturday, December 16th

2-3 YEARS OLD

An introduction to sports and sensory activities, GrowFit's Little Sports class is designed to help support your little one's motor & cognitive development. Organized games and sensory activities teach sports skills, teamwork, coordination and physical abilities. 

Weeks 1-3: Locomotor movement focus
Weeks 4-5: Kicking focus
Weeks 6-7: Throwing and catching focus
Weeks 8-9: Spatial awareness focus
Weeks 10-12: Engaging & playing with others                                                                                                                           


Soccer

Fall Session: Now-Saturday, December 16th
Winter Session: Saturday, January 6th- Friday, March 30th

3-5 YEARS OLD

An introduction to soccer, this class will help your child develop dribbling and shooting skills. Your child will play fun and imaginative games and as the season progresses, participate in the early stages of scrimmaging.

Weeks 1-2: Dribbling (no hands) and kicking
Weeks 3-5: Dribbling and kicking for distance
Weeks 6-8: Advanced dribbling
Weeks 9-10: Dribbling in traffic and shooting
Weeks 11-12: Soccer scrimmages 

5-7 YEARS OLD

In this soccer class your child will develop dribbling, shooting and defense skills. Your child will play fun and imaginative games and as the season progresses, play non-competitive soccer games. 

Weeks 1-2: Dribbling and passing
Weeks 3-5: Dribbling and shooting
Weeks 6-8: Dribbling and defense
Weeks 9-10: Advanced dribbling
Weeks 11-12: Soccer games


New: GrowFit Soccer Teams

Winter Session: Sundays, January 7th- February 25th

GrowFit Soccer Teams will play in the SportsHouse League during the winter session, against other teams for 40 minute games. Children enrolled in classes are invited to join teams based on their birth years. Space is limited. 

5-7 YEARS OLD

GrowFit U6: For children born in 2012, and enrolled in GrowFit Soccer Classes, this GrowFit team will play 7 games during the session with two, 20 minute halves on Sundays between 8AM-3PM.

GrowFit U7: For children born in 2011, and enrolled in GrowFit Soccer Classes, this GrowFit team will play 7 games during the session with two, 20 minute halves on Sundays between 8AM-3PM.

GrowFit U8: For children born in 2010, and enrolled in GrowFit Soccer Classes, this GrowFit team will play 7 games during the session with two, 20 minute halves on Sundays between 8AM-3PM.


Multi-Sport

Fall Session: Now-Saturday, December 16th
Winter Session: Saturday, January 6th- Friday, March 30th

3-5 YEARS OLD

An introduction to soccer, football, volleyball and baseball, in this class your child will begin developing fundamental sports skills. Your child will play fun and imaginative games and as the season progresses, participate in the early stages of scrimmaging.

Weeks 1-3: Soccer
Weeks 4-6: Flag Football
Weeks 7-9: Volleyball
Weeks 10-12: Baseball

5-7 YEARS OLD

STAFF

Our teaching staff consists of highly qualified professionals (most are PE teachers) who are knowledgeable in creating supportive environments where children feel emotionally safe and are willing to try things outside their comfort zone. All teachers complete our comprehensive training program, are regularly evaluated and participate in ongoing training.
